This cover is based on a 2012 photograph I made of an abandoned grain elevator, in Buffalo.

The camera was pointed vertically; this is part of the roof.

Sandy and I both liked the darkness at the top and bottom, the graceful curves, the crack of sunlight, and of course the image's "broken" nature.
