Erika Howsare lives in rural Virginia, where she mothers full-time and works as a journalist.

In 2016 she co-authored a book-length poetic meditation on waste, called FILL: A Collection. She was a co-editor at Horse Less Press for eleven years and has published three chapbooks; Magnificent Field will publish a fourth this year. Her recent prose appears in Taproot and online at The Millions and The Rumpus. Previous projects included a performative multimedia walk across Rhode Island. She is currently finishing a new manuscript called Coal Is a Food.

Here's a link to a fine interview of Erika -- which is also a book review.
