This is another Colden image -- a creek stone on the deck railing, with a late winter frost.
The cover, though, was made several years after the image.
Lisa and I liked the simple lines and strong forms, and that little bit of strangeness -- what's a flat creek stone doing on a railing? With frost?
I tried many different placements of the text, looking for just the right position. I usually don't place author and title so close together, but in this case I think it worked.
