We order 10 pre-publication review copies and send them, with a media kit, to review outlets such as Publishers’ Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, Choice, Booklist, Library Journal, a major newspaper in the author’s locale, and professional journals if that is appropriate.

 

We promote the book and its author on our website, Facebook page, and other places where the Press has a presence.

 

We produce a media kit including an interactive press release, and distribute it to reviewers, bookstores, reading venues, bloggers, etc. based on the author’s suggestions.

 

We design a poster and send a digital image to the author to be printed for readings, signings, etc.
