When Ginia (a.k.a. Virginia) was in Ithaca to talk about her book, we were standing in my workroom, where I have a Tibetan monk's cell door on the wall. Ginia suggested the door might work, we spent time experimenting with detail from it, and yes, it did.
This was the first time a cover was generated when the author and I were in the same place looking at the image source -- and then, even more fun, being able to take pictures, bring them immediately into InDesign, and see them as cover images.
It was great fun and very satisfying, too.
